Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (PPCR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes rigorous clinical research, along with work on how clinical research is designed, conducted, and taught.

Our mission is to strengthen the training and work of clinical researchers around the world. We publish original research, systematic and scoping reviews, methodological articles, and letters to the editor that advance clinical science and support evidence-based practice.

We are committed to giving early-career investigators a venue to publish alongside established scientists, and to connecting researchers, educators, and clinicians across institutions and countries.

Open access at no cost to authors. All articles are free to read under a CC BY 4.0 license, and there are no article processing or submission charges. Submissions are accepted year-round.
